Your pet’s safety is our top priority
General anesthesia includes four foundational elements: unconsciousness, pain control, amnesia, and immobility. Through careful planning followed by attentive monitoring of the patient’s status, these crucial elements are accomplished safely. During your pets’ most vulnerable moments, it is our honor and privilege to be trusted with caring for their safety and wellbeing while under anesthesia.
Our expert care
At Eclipse, a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia oversees our anesthesia team, which is made up of skilled veterinary technicians within each service. An anesthesiologist must complete 4 years of veterinary school, a 1-year internship, and a 3-year specialty residency, before passing a certifying examination issued by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA). During training, an anesthesiologist is exposed to a variety of species, diseases, and complex procedures. Our focus is on minimizing anesthetic risks while achieving the state of general anesthesia with the least disturbance to our patient’s physiology, so the patient may resume their normal routine as quickly as possible. Consultation with our anesthesiologist is available upon request.
