Dr. Alana Redfern

Internal Medicine Specialist

Dr. Redfern was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. She graduated from Texas A&M where she competed in Track and Field. After completion of her undergraduate degree, she returned to Canada to the WCVM where she graduated from veterinary school. Dr. Redfern then completed a rotating internship in Prince Edward Island and an Internal Medicine Residency at Iowa State University. She then moved to New York City where she worked for BluePearl. She recently moved to New Jersey with her husband, son, 2 dogs and a cat. Dr. Redfern is particularly passionate about gastrointestinal diseases, fecal microbial transplants and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Redfern loves great food, travel, and being active outdoors.
