Dr. Alyssa Flores

Dr. Flores, a New Jersey native from Paramus, brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team. She began her journey at Northeastern University in Boston, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Her love for animals even took her to Thailand, where she volunteered at an elephant sanctuary during her undergraduate years.

After completing her veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California in 2020, Dr. Flores returned to New Jersey for a one-year rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital. She then honed her expertise with a three-year residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Southeast Veterinary Neurology in Miami, Florida.

When she’s not helping pets, Dr. Flores enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and rock climbing. She also loves baking and hanging out with her fiancé and two cats.
