Lee

Board Certified Veterinary Oncologist

Dr. Lee grew up in Tennessee, moving to New York City to attend Columbia University, majoring in history. While working in public relations after college, she discovered a passion for animals and decided to change her career path to focus on veterinary medicine. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. It was at UTCVM that she was matched to a research project in oncology after her first year of vet school, which started her journey to specializing in medical oncology. After vet school, Dr. Lee went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center, followed by a residency in medical oncology at the University of California Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Lee’s particular areas of interest include hematopoietic cancers (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma) and immunotherapies. She strives for a balanced approach to cancer care, devising aggressive cancer treatment plans while prioritizing quality of life for patients during and after treatment.

When not working, Dr. Lee loves spending time with her chiweenie named Papi and kitty named Mimi. She enjoys traveling, eating (not cooking), and watching sports.
