Dr. Chia (Joy) Tseng DVM, DACVAA

Anesthesiologist

Dr. Joy Tseng obtained her veterinary degree from Cornell University in 2014. She completed an internship at Unionville Equine Associates in 2015 before returning to Cornell University for her residency training in anesthesia and analgesia. Dr. Tseng became a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia® in 2019 and taught as an assistant clinical professor at the Iowa State University for two years. Dr. Tseng moved to Northern Jersey and has been in private specialty practice since 2020. Her special interests in veterinary anesthesia include cardiovascular physiology, acute pain management, locoregional anesthesia, and delivering anesthesia education to various audience. Dr. Tseng previously served on American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia Committees and is currently a board member of the North American Veterinary Anesthesia Society (NAVAS) and Co-Chair of the NAVAS Education Committee.
