Dr. Maria Cordero
Dr. Maria Cordero moved to the US from Ecuador when she was 14 and has called New Jersey her home ever since.
In 2018, she obtained her veterinary degree from Ross University, following the completion of her clinical year in Minnesota. Her dedication to veterinary medicine was further honed through a comprehensive 4-month emergency focused training program at Garden State Veterinary Services. Following her training, Maria seamlessly transitioned into the role of an emergency doctor at Garden State Veterinary Services, where she dedicated approximately 6 years of her career. Dr. Cordero’s passion lies in handling trauma cases, toxicology, and surgery.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Cordero enjoys traveling, hiking, and going to the gym. Dr. Cordero and her husband, Ben, share their home with two dogs, Lola and Georgie, as well as two cats, Wiggles and Penelope.
