Dr. Isabel Zahn

Cardiologist

Dr. Zahn was born and raised in Westchester, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science in animal behavior from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Her academic Journey continued at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where she fell in love with Cardiology and graduated at the top of her class. Following her veterinary education, she completed a small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University and then pursued a three-year residency in cardiology at the University of Georgia.

Recently, Dr. Zahn returned to the Northeast with her husband, Chase, their two dogs, Otis and Winnie, and their cat, Ziggy. While she enjoys all aspects of cardiology, her specific interests lie in congenital heart disease and the long-term management of canine and feline-acquired heart disease.

Outside of work, Dr. Zahn loves gardening, good food, and being active outdoors.
